To our Loyal, Treasured Customers,
To those who are not yet aware...We are writing to let you know that after long deliberation, Sunnyslope owners will be retiring and have sold the Sunnyslope property.
Please be assured we will be fully operational with our full staff through Saturday, February 19th and will handle all orders, as normal, through that date. We are fully servicing all in-store and delivery orders, locally and for out-of-town, until the end of that day with the same excellent quality and service you’ve experienced over the past 47 years. On Monday, February 21, Sunnyslope’s retail store, located at 4800 44th St SW, Grandville, will then be open with inventory reduction pricing on everything in our building, including all giftware, silk flowers, plants, containers, display stands, wedding rental items, office equipment (desks, file cabinets, room dividers, etc.), office supplies, actually, everything in our building. We will continue to be open until everything has been sold, with a final close date of March 31, 2022 (or before, if all product has been sold).
This past year, 2021, was our most successful year in nearly 20 years – even with the challenges of the Pandemic - and it’s nice to go out on a high! However, as owners, it is bittersweet to close the business that we opened in 1975 when we were barely in our 20’s. Along with our dedicated staff we have nurtured Sunnyslope every day since then. From humble beginnings, Sunnyslope has achieved unprecedented awards over the years including having been one of FTD’s Top 100 Members for the North American Continent for over 25 years running, have been inducted into the American Academy of Floriculture, were awarded the Michigan Retail Florist of the Year, achieved America’s Cup Semi-Finalist, and awarded the State of Michigan Retailer of the Year, as a few of our highlights.
As we look forward to the future, know that we are beyond grateful for the opportunities which you have provided to us for nearly 5 decades. We appreciate that you have entrusted us with enhancing some of the most important events of your life. We have celebrated so many occasions with our customers … from birth to death, and everything in between. It has been our extreme pleasure to have been of service to you. Your support of our local, family owned business over the years has provided a dream-come-true for us. For that, we are forever grateful!
